Start your apprenticeship at the ThyssenKrupp Metallcenter and work on projects with direct practical applications during your training. Our comprehensive training program helps our apprentices gain a broad spectrum of knowledge during their training. The apprenticeship year begins every August. Please apply as early as possible.

Duration of apprenticeship
3 years. The IHK (Chamber of Commerce and Industry) final examination to qualify as a wholesale and foreign trade clerk can be taken after 2 years; qualification after 3 years as (a. + b.) Bachelor or (c.) Wirtschafts-Diplom Betriebswirt/-in (VWA) (diploma in business studies from the Academy of Business and Public Sector Management (VWA))

general/technical qualification for university entry
In the commercial area, you can expect – following a corresponding training period – a broad spectrum of specialist and middle management duties, e.g. in accounting and HR, purchasing, sales, controlling and marketing.

Wholesale and foreign trade clerk

Duration of apprenticeship
3 years, with appropriate preliminary training: 2 years

Prerequisites for entrance:
junior high school leaving certificate, commercial college or high school diploma
This apprenticeship forms the basis for positions in all areas of our company: whether purchasing or sales, shipping, accounting, administration, data processing or HR – there are interesting tasks to do everywhere. |

Prerequisites for entrance:
good lower secondary school leaving certificate
In your apprenticeship you will retool, set up and operate machines and equipment. You will prepare operating procedures, check machine functions on test rigs and return production lines to operation.

Internship
Gain initial experience with the ThyssenKrupp Group and get to know the various areas of ThyssenKrupp Metallcenter during your studies. You will play an active role in realizing and shaping interesting projects.
Degree dissertation
The ThyssenKrupp Metallcenter also offers degree dissertations on various topics at regular intervals. The topic can only be precisely defined following receipt of an application.
